Data protection complaints
If you think Simply Works LTD has handled your personal data incorrectly, you can make a data protection complaint directly to us.
How to complain
Email support@simply-link.co.uk with the subject Data protection complaint.
It helps if you include:
- your name and the best way to contact you;
- what you think happened and why you are concerned;
- the account, payment request or communication involved, if you know it;
- relevant dates or messages; and
- what you would like us to do to resolve the issue.
Please do not send passwords, full payment-card details or more personal information than is reasonably necessary for us to understand the complaint.
What happens next
We will acknowledge a data protection complaint within 30 days of receiving it. We will take appropriate steps to investigate it without undue delay, keep you informed where appropriate, and provide an outcome without unjustifiable or excessive delay.
We may ask for additional information or reasonable evidence of identity where this is necessary to investigate safely or protect another person's information.
If your complaint is mainly about personal data controlled by a Simply Link merchant, we may need to direct the complaint to that merchant or work with them under our Data Processing Addendum. We will still consider whether Simply Works has any separate responsibility for the issue.
Complaining to the ICO
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first, but contacting us does not remove your right to contact the ICO.
